Airspace density will be derived from the unique features of the 5G network: low latency, high availability, extreme capacity, network slicing possibilities, resistance to the attacks. By virtualising edge elements of the network, U-space will get almost infinite volume in its capacity to carry out the most imaginative services.
The time has come to announce DroneRadar participation in the 5GDRONES Project. The principal goal over this #H2020 EU R&I programme is to trial several UAV use-cases covering eMBB (Enhanced Mobile Broadband), URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication), and mMTC (massive Machine Type Communications). The project will drive the UAV verticals and 5G networks by showing that next gen network can support challenging use-cases. Project will facilitate deliverables provided by the ICT-17.
